Hi! Welcome to Suncoast RV Resort in Port Richey, Florida!!
This month got off to a bang with a weenie and pot luck supper on Sunday, to celebrate Labor Day. Thirty five guests attended and it was a scrumptious meal with some deliciously sinful and some not so sinful desserts. We planned to do a marshmallow roast but tabled it until a later date, when it is a little cooler in the evening.
The park is steadily filling up and should be to capacity by early November, so if any are still looking for a fun place to be this winter, call soon and we will do our best to find you a site.
Part of our crew of work campers have arrived and are in the process of setting up events for the coming season. Our old favorite Bingo will be back with some twists to it and hoping to get Saturday morning breakfasts planned. Numerous other events are in the planning stages and will keep you informed as they are implemented.
We are planning another “Meet and Greet” for the first Saturday in October, and hope many more will attend. It is a great time to meet the new “neighbors” and to find others who will be interested in the activities you are.
Starting Monday Sept 21st, we are going to begin Texas hold em night at 6:30 pm. If you are interested, please let the office know or just stop by to check it out!!
We have a 50/50 raffle in place, drawing will be October 1st, so get your tickets. Last raffle netted almost $ 60.00 so we are shooting for at least a hundred. Also, Bingo has started up again on Friday nights at 7 p.m. Snacks and coffee are available so bring your dollar bills and come on over!!!
After a long, hot, time consuming week, the pool is back and looking beautiful. Craig & Jim did an outstanding job painting and getting it back up and running.
We are looking forward to a great season and welcome all the newcomers who have arrived...
